The car is packed and we are heading out soon for a visit to the lovely Blue Ridge Mountains near Crozet, VA for the Crozet Arts and 
Crafts Festival on May 7 and 8. We love this festival for several reasons, one of which is my excellent sales. Additionally, set up on friday is well organized and relatively easy compared to some other locations This festival is well planned and managed by a group of dedicated volunteers in the Claudius Crozet community park. Every artist is under roof in either a very large tent or under pavilions in the park. This means that I don’t need to transport and set up the entire canopy, just the walls and a string of lights across the top. It also means that the weather has much less impact on attendance because of the covered areas for the artists and customers. This will be my third year and with weather looking good for the weekend, I’m hoping for another good experience. I hope to see some returning customers and meet some new ones.
I’ve made a few quilts for Crozet which I have not listed yet on Etsy….so they will be available first at Crozet. Hope to see lots of people at Crozet!
